Since Valentine's Day is drawing closer, it's only right I should blog more about it. Personally, I'm a neutral party to the whole chocolatey-love charade or bloody Valentine's thing. I don't dislike it, and Valentine's come and go for me, just like any other day! However, St Valentine's def means a whole new level of vintage images and anything else! Here are some vintage pictures representing Valentine's Day! Enjoy! (These images are taken from sites, and in no way belong to me.)
ABOVE: Valentine's a day you get letters of love and hope from your dear ones!
Recently found a cool Eiffel Tower graphic! It blinks! Francais-style!
And get inspiration of a page out of VOGUE - Paris!
I also entered a comp giving away pairs of tickets to 'Alice in Wonderland'! I can't wait 'till it premieres in March 2010! But chances of winning are basically next to zero... That's life for you. Anyway, it looks really good, since Johnny Depp, Helena Bonham Carter and Anne Hathaway's in it. The pick for the role of Alice ain't that bad too - Mia Wasikowska, an Aussie! Still, any film by Tim Burton would be rather dark and just a l'il creepy! Just sayin'! Here's a picture of the movie poster (those flower faces are just a teensy bit creepy- and adorable!).
A Valentine's Day quote:
"Life has taught us that love does not consist in gazing at each other but in looking outward in the same direction."
- Antoine de Saint-Exupery, The Little Prince
