Tee Off! Part Three

Okay, before I start once again on the funny tees, here's what happened on the last day of the first week of the new school term!

Met Bucky real early at the library (my only sort-of fave place at the school now) to revise Adobe Photoshop stuff! Turns out she knew a lot more than I did! Couldn't help her any more than I could myself... I managed to find my class real easily since I spotted some classmates whose faces I remembered going in through a glass door. Turns out you need a valid thumbprint to go through it.

Anyway, we learned Adobe Illustrator in this class for Graphics Communication. It was so much easier to learn! But I got lost during some parts too. Why do lecturers speak SO FAST?! But this was my end design(there was supposed to be a tablecloth design over it but I missed out the explanation for that!):

We got dismissed several minutes earlier and I spotted Beck with a group doing Location Video Production with this old camera!

Got home pretty fast and got crackin' at figuring out Photoshop again. The vid tutorial the lecturer posted up helped a lot, and I FINALLY knew how to do all that stuff! Mine turned out like that:

I Got the Randoms!

Don't really have much to blog about now, so I'll just put in a whole lot of random (important ones!) and post pictures sent to me by people!

It's crucial you watch the video below, made by IFAW (International Fund for Animal Welfare), and do your utmost to save these little sea critters! The words below was written exactly as it is by the president of IFAW!

"Baby seals need ice to survive. So when the ice disappears, so do the newborn seals. You see, without a solid, stable ice platform on which to give birth and nurse their pups, many harp seal mothers are forced to abort their pups in the water where they sink and die.This is the worst ice year on record for the east coast of Canada.

Even those seals born on land have suffered a terrible fate. We've seen dead and abandoned pups on beaches, starving pups crying for food and trying to suckle off each other, and pups swimming in desperate search of ice on which they can rest. Yet despite this horrific tragedy, the Canadian government has called for 330,000 harp seals to be slaughtered - even though most of the pups are already thought to have died! It is truly heartbreaking...the lack of ice and the seal hunt could result in the loss of almost all of this year's pups.

And because there's so little ice, many of the seals taken in this year's hunt will be shot in the water. It's hard for a sealer to get a steady shot from a boat, so more seals will be "struck and lost". Wounded and then disappearing into the ocean - these seals are likely to experience severe pain and prolonged suffering before they die.

It's heartbreaking to realize that even those baby seals who somehow managed to survive the last few weeks before the hunt began may now be killed to support a dying market for products that no one needs.

You and I may not be able to save these seals from the effects of climate change, but the Canadian government can stop the survivors from being hunted.

Please give whatever you can now to put an end to this senseless cruelty."

Now, humor aside... The information below is on the Montana Bear tragedy. You've been asked NOT to feed the animals in parks. They'd lose their own foraging skills and EXPECT food from people. They get very cranky if they don't get it! Animals that were formerly self-sufficient are now showing signs of belonging to the Democratic Party... as they have apparently learned to just sit and wait for the government to step in and provide for their care and sustenance.

The photo below captures a disturbing trend that is beginning to affect USA's wildlife. This photo is of a Democrat black bear in Montana nicknamed: Bearack Obearma.

Day of the Last-Minute Packing

Well, today's Easter and I've got 3 chocolate eggs to prove it! ;DDD Anyway, this is gonna be a short post since I still have lots of packing to do for my trip to Tokyo tmrw morning, and I'm barely even started! I sure hope my brother don't go a step near to my hamsters, Mochi & Pudding and kill them off or something. Or that my Gran would remember to change their water and feed them each day! I'd be gone for TEN days! So hopefully nothing bad happens then. *Praying fervently*

And even though it's Spring in Japan, temperatures are still mild, ranging around 13-18 degrees Celcius, so I've to bring many long-sleeved shirts. Dang, I don't particularly like long sleeves much now! At least, I'd be bringing my PINK scarf! I love it so! And I hope we don't get lost over there, since we're going 'round free & easy! I'll try my best to blog from Tokyo, and post pictures I've taken! There's free wireless connection in the hotel rooms, so hopefully that'd work!
