Skeletal Lovers in Roma

I don't usually blog more than once a day, but thought I should post this up! As scary the photo may look (nobody should be that terrified of skeletons!), it's a really lovely story that goes on behind it. Read the description below for deets about this real-life phenomenon!
These two skeletons from the Neolithic period have been discovered by archaeologists near Mantua in Italy and are believed to be young lovers due to the presence of all the teeth. The Location of their eternal embrace was just 25 miles south of Verona, the city where Shakespeare’s love story Romeo and Juliet was set.
I'd admit, it's sorta creepy really, the way their skeletal legs still entwine in an embrace which went on even after their bodies had decayed. And is that a KNIFE I see at the bottom in between the skeleton's leg bone? Share
