Also sent her birthday gifts along with her Christmas ones since it will cost a lot cheaper than mailing them out twice (together, they still cost 20++ bucks ._.) and gave her these cute character earstuds from Toy Story! They look a lot different in the picture than in real life...

Also sent her a Forever 21 necklace (they don't have F21 there) and a silver nail polish from rubi!
And decorated her a birthday card! I think I must have done about 6 birthday cards in the past month!

I usually begin listening to Christmas songs from end of October... I know, crazy right? I get into the Christmas spirit waaay too early! Here are some of the Christmas songs I'm currently listening to!

Good ol' Saint Nick living right in Finland's Laplands on a fell named "Korvatunturi", according to my Finnish penpal! One Finnish Christmas tradition: Finland families with little children usually hire someone (a relative, etc.) to come over on Christmas Eve dressed up as Santa Claus to deliver the bought presents to the kids! How adorbs!
Christmas cookies, and any other type of food that signifies Christmas! Especially...

I recall I bought a small Christmas tree (one of those commercialised ones without a branch but a knitted box as a base) last year, but I'd no idea where my mother placed it, but I'm far too lazy to bring it out to decorate. No one ever drops by my house for Christmas anyway. Next Christmas, then!
You may think I'd have a wonderful Christmas, seeing how much I love so many aspects of it right? Truth is, I don't even have a Christmas tree decorated at home, nor have I hung Christmas lights, or even bought a Christmas sweater for myself. But I have been watching Christmas movies, wrapping Christmas gifts and listening to Christmas songs! That's just me trying to convince myself I'm having a wonderful Christmas...
Anyways, I went for Christmas service at Glory Presbyterian Church close by with Elaine and her "friend"! Becky was supposed to come to, but not surprisingly, she overslept and missed it! It was pretty all right though. Nothing I didn't expect! Singing hymns, a Christmas song, listening to a sermon and reading scriptures... I went home after that!
...And opened Christmas presents I'd already received and was saving for Christmas morning!
The first one I opened was from Becky! I got 3 presents!

A pig-rabbit! I told her I loved the Korean drama "You're Beautiful", and she gave me this cell-phone holder with a stuffed pig rabbit by its side! The pig-rabbit was a symbolic character in the drama series! So cute!

She also gave 2 boxes of instant noodles - the best and favourite brand in Korea! Can't wait to try 'em!
That's all the Christmas presents I have for now! I'm expecting 4 more! Hurrah! (I hope that didn't make me sound at all conceited - HAHA!)
Well, the long-awaited (at least, for me) third studio album by Mizz Selenita is finally out! It released on iTunes on 28 June! Get her album here on iTunes (or scroll a little downwards to download the entire album free)! I got the whole album leaked just days before the official release date, but I'm still going to get her album when it comes out in stores! The scans I viewed of the lyric book in the album were so awesome and vintage, which is partly the reason I'll be supporting her and getting the album the proper way...
Check out the rad album artwork below! It's all cleopatra-ish and flapper style combined! I love it! Plus all the songs in this album are a must-hear. Some of my true favorites (I actually love all the songs though) are "Love You Like A Love Song", "Outlaw", "My Dilemma", "Dices" and "We Own The Night"!
Check out the newly released music video for "Love You Like A Love Song"! Probably the best music vid ever by Selena! I especially liked her in the Marie Antoinette costume and in the purple weeded land where she's hitting a heart-shaped piñata! Apparently, she's in a Japanese karaoke bar, though that doesn't explain the bad Japanese by that obviously Chinese woman, but does the Japanese characters that appear in the music video!

I don't really dig this single artwork! Her head looks awfully weird. It's like somebody detached it from her body and jus t stuck it back on. But ✭✭✭✩✩ for the retro-vintage feel!

Anyway, Monte Carlo was just released today! I didn't even get to watch it on the day of release, 'cos apparently Bec and I were too late to view the 2:50 timing in the afternoon when she had to interview a 66 year-old Malay dude for FA2 for his nasi lemak store (he drooled and spit saliva a lot while talking!), and the next & last one for the day is at 7 in the evening! Pity. I've done almost 5 months of waiting, I guess it doesn't hurt to wait a little bit more.

I'm not that huge a Twilight fan now (mainly 'cos New Moon and Eclipse weren't that nice), but I guess I'll continue with the rest of the saga. A longer trailer has been released! It looks kinda good, so I'll give this a shot! Share
