P.S.: On a happier note... Hurrah it's finally the month of December! Christmas to look forward to, and one more month till it's New Year 2011!

Prepping Presentations
Watch out. A boring, long-winded post about my school life is up. I had an hour of lecture at 9AM (which is still crazy early, if you ask me!) and met up with my group mates for a final meeting before we have our Social Psychology presentation on verbal and non-verbal communication tmrw! We edited our powerpoint slides again, filmed an extra section for bonus marks at the drinks store (something about comparisons between iced chocolate and iced milo) and then rehearsed the parts we were gonna present thrice. Well, almost. I screwed up at the 2nd try. We were only given 15 minutes in all to present and show a human documentary. While we rehearsed, I'd kept on talking until the timer rang. I did better in my 3rd try, I s'pose. I condensed my slides more. Went home after that, and worked on my radio assignment and blah, blah, blah. This is totally boring me out... blogging about school, that is. The good part of today is that I finally managed to download mp4 format movies like Ramona and Beezus, The American Mall and Eclipse! Shhh... I'm not gonna bother with finding a quote for today, so ciaooo xx

Getting into Christmas Spirits
Another whole day of lectures again today! But I've got one thing to totally lift my spirits! Christmas songs! But to be honest, I've already started listening to them starting October. I was just too excited for the Christmas season. My Christmas playlist is piling high with songs too, like Big Time Rush, Ariana Grande, the Glee Christmas album and more! I've even completed a Letter to Santa yesterday! Yipee. Bec would help mail it for me on Thursday to the Arctic Circle in Finland. The address does sound really fake though, but at least we're granted a reply! I hope. I had a hard time trying to find nice letter papers. I finally decided on a Hello Kitty themed one. I hope Santa Claus knows who Hello Kitty, or rather 'what' she is!
A work in progress...
The front of the letter! Loooove! ❤❤

NEW! Sharpay's Fabulous Adventure Theatrical Trailer
TGIF!! OMG I've been waiting forever for the High School Musical continuation of Sharpay's journey (to Broadway, especially!) to come out... (and I guess I gotta wait some more!) Anyways, the trailer and preview of Sharpay's Fabulous Adventure look really good (included them below). It's so weird Sharpay's love interest is gonna be Austin Butler (they've worked together in Aliens in the Attic!)

Seating Plans
Another boring day of lectures... There ain't much really to blog about really, so it's gonna be another short one today! I'm lacking the patience to start up those long-winded posts again.
We had to follow a seating plan for all the lectures this time (I'm kinda glad about it, in a way). Bec had a hard time finding hers in the morning at the start since a girl was sitting in hers! The Writing Comm lecturer seems just as scary as everyone had stated! She was those I-mean-business types but the kind who are able to crack the whole lecture hall up. Bec and I approached her (with caution, no doubt) with print-outs of our MCs since there was a 5% graded thing last week when we missed lectures that day! She commented on mine - the date wasn't clear thanks to my crappy camera phone! She also took notice we'd gone to the similar clinic! :x At least we didn't get scolded - she accepted our MCs! I was half expecting her to give us a huge scolding!

*Grunt*
Been feeling really down lately, for some reason. Anyways, thankfully my day only comprised of a 2 hour lecture, for Social Psychology... and Communication (I hate that last part!) It's pretty much all the usual boring stuff on elements of communication and all that junk. The lecturer seemed to love cracking jokes, though. He's got a mean sense of humor, but that's cool. It gets a little annoying after a while, I've to say.
Anyways, I'm so looking forward to Halloween night! I've got no music lessons for that day, phew. Still, I've got that grade exam to study for that takes place the day before Halloween, at some academy I've heard about but never actually been to!
Prettiest Halloween photo I've seen so far! Love the bee-striped socks and that huge trunk!

Fretting
Another short one would do it for today! Stayed home the entire day today - been feelin' too lazy and grumpy to step out of the house anyways.
School resumes next week Monday - and I'm so not up for it. In fact, I've no more desire to go to school already, I even feel like dropping out! But then, I don't wanna be called a drop-out. It's gonna hurt what little rep I may have. My 'rents would never give their consent anyway. If only I had all the money in the world... I would just quit school and travel the world! That's my dream, I s'pose.
My life is gonna totally suck for the rest of the year. Just can't wait for Christmas to come. I've got that roadtrip to the resort to look forward to then. Random photo below! The eyeshadows used look totes cool like that!

Realization
What I've realized these days... you don't really have to blog a long-winded, picture-loaded post to make it interesting! Which was what I did a lot in the past. Just take a look at the posts in the past few months this year! So just for today, it's gonna be a really short post - and picture-less!
Anyways, scheduled a trip to Universal Studios with Beck on Tuesday! Totally psyched to get on the rides! The first time I went it was just at night - and we couldn't even get into the rides. We were just allowed out at the entrance and main area with all the usual candy and souvenir stores! Of course, this time we're paying full price. We're gonna try to get in as early as we possibly can - 'round ten! Hopefully my mother's paying for my ticket! But I doubt Universal Studios is nowhere as close in the exciting factor to Disneyland! Can't wait to get on the rides in US though!

Stay-In Saturday
I don't usually go out on Saturdays, so the title is a no-biggie. Anyways, check what just came up on YouTube! They've finally released official promos for the newest, upcoming episode of iCarly, guest-starring Jane Lynch (yes, that's Sue Sylvester from Glee!) as Sam's mom. Honestly, I think she's the best fit for this role there is! Just check out the video below and see for yourself! I can't wait for the episode to premiere 11 September!! I've been anticipating this ever since they announced who got the part as Sam's mom, really.

At the Doc's
Finally went to the doctor's with my mother at night! I was pretty nervous before that - scared that I'll need some minor surgery or something with my throat. Turn out I've got post-nasal (or natal?! Wait that is some preggers term right?) drip, where it is supposed to be a runny nose - just that it goes the other way, not out of the nose, but into the throat. So apparently, my throat's swelling or there's an infection or summat. Hopefully this was an honest-to-goodness consultation, or that the doctor wasn't wrong or anything... 'Cos the whole doctor's visit cost my mother SEVENTY-THREE BUCKS!! That included the consultation and the prescription meds of course. I signed up for an all syrupy liquid medication - I couldn't exactly swallow at all now without feeling hurt in my throat and total dryness there. I really hope I can get well soon before my birthday (in 5 days time!!!). This throat would just totally ruin my 18th birthday, I just know it. UGH! Rant's over.

The Fever
All right, this ain't gonna be a real long post. I've got the fever (I HARDLY get sick, but when I do, it's pretty much kinda deadly - all right, that was exaggerating but still...) It went up to more than 100F, or 40 degrees if you put it in Celcius. I hope it doesn't get too serious till I get my brains fried! I'm gonna rest for now. Meanwhile, here's a picture of a cute hamster to end this post! (I just LOVE it when they sleep with their feet in the air!)

Sapphire Midnight
It's pretty weird to have a title which is made up from a precious stone and time of day (in this case - night!). Well, that's because I just had the awesomest Sapphire Midnight soda while eating out at a family diner of sorts for dinner! The picture of it is below. OMG I'm craving for it so much now that I'm becoming as thirsty as a Cullen vampire!
Anyways, the picture above is a pretty cool illustration (probably hand-sketched, which makes it all the more impressive!) of Red Riding Hood and the wolf in well, grandma's clothing! I used to have fairytale books with such illustrations but I lost it like, close to 10 years ago!

The 30-Day Facial Expression Challenge!
I've been really busy recently with tons of projects due in less than a week and less than a month, so this won't be another one of my long, boring post!
Now, I found this somewhere. I'll try this onwards from today - and report how I got through the day with THAT particular face! So here is it: Day 1 - Regular Face. This might just probably be the easiest. So I won't talk much about it...

Shooting: Day Two!
Fast forward 3 days and we're on our second day of shooting for our short film! I'm totally worn out, so I'll keep this post snappy as well. I still have a test to study for and a photoshop file that needs major construction pending!! So I doubt I shall be getting sleep anytime soon. I can't imagine what this will do for my skin. WTF. Bectouille and I left the lectures just after the first one too. Yayyers! Went off to her house for some food again. Wow I sure am a glutton...
Anyways, we took a taxi (thank goodness one stopped at the third floor - we'd have to lug all that equipment down) to the same venue, which is a terrace that belongs to one of my teammates' grandmother! We took a much longer time finishing the first scene we did! I'm not gonna go into the details. That'd just bore EVERYONE (including me) out. The next scene (before we called it a wrap) we did was an interrogation scene. We had it in a darkroom, and it was all cramped in there. The room was waaay small and I nearly tripped over tons of wires. Loved that sharp, interrogation light though! Harsh lighting. We finished this scene a li'l faster since the main lead was pretty much a professional actor. I'll stop here. Ciaoooo xx

NEW! Welcome to the Riley's Theatrical Trailer ft. K-Stew
All righty, only just randomly found out that Kristen Stewart, a.k.a Bella Swan in the ever-popular Twilight saga - is in an upcoming film called Welcome to the Riley's. Love her hair in here, but she apparently plays a runaway stripper in this flick. Extreme, I know. This is a Restricted movie BTW! Enjoy the trailer and a short clip from the movie below! WATCH Despicable Me
Watch Despicable Me below! It stars Steve Carrell, Russell Brand, Julie Andrews and Miranda Cosgrove! The latter was the reason I wanted to watch it actually. The movie is pretty short, approximately 75 minutes! It was pretty funny though. As much as I love spoilers (and giving them!), I ain't gonna reveal much here. MegaUpload can be exasperating at times, but when it's not, this thing actually loads pretty fast! Double-click to view it full-screen. Blogger's width is real small... Enjoy!

Overslept!
Damn, lately all I have been spending on is food, and taxi fares! I'd missed my last bus to get to music lesson - so I'd to take a taxi. Today, I woke up only 15 MINUTES before my class started - so I took a taxi. Thank God I didn't have long to wait for it, or that the teacher isn't a very strict one. Barely had time to feed my hammies, and I left, forgetting to put on my socks, and went without breakfast/lunch. Darn. Anyway, seriously I'm running out of stuff to blog about. So I'm just gonna post pictures I took of a ceiling and something else in some theme park. Ciaooo xx

Glee and iCarly Collide!
This is gonna be the best episode ever of iCarly! Apparently, the iCarly team had decided to cast Jane Lynch, a.k.a the infamous Sue Sylvester on Glee - as Sam Puckett's much-mentioned-but-never-before-seen mom. She'll guest-star in an episode called "Sam's Mom"! It's the most genius thing ever to place Lynch in this role - she suits it to a tee! Anyways, while it would be aired in the third season of iCarly, the airdate has not yet been set, so we'd all have to do a bit of a wait. Darn. So what do YOU think about this new role for the Glee villainess? YAY or NAY?

Kid on a Pug
Really short post today - apparently, I've a Photoshop and Dreamweaver tutorial test to review fast, so below's just a totally adorable Asian kid sitting on a pretty decent-sized pug dog. I love how she used the leash as if she were sitting on a pony! Cute!

Test Week
All right, this is gonna be a quickie, since I have like, TWO TESTS coming up tmrw then count for nearly half the total grade! Ughhh! It's Media in Society and Marketing Communication, BTW. Both are sooo theory-based. And notes ain't exactly helping either. Well, guess I'll have to settle for a borderline pass or fail (NOOOOOOOOOOOOO)...
